Welcome to the Wailuku Neighborhood Parking Permit program, tailored exclusively for residents located on or near Vineyard Street and Church Street in Wailuku. With the addition of the Wailuku Garage, this initiative aims to offer you a convenient alternative for secure and convenient off-street parking.

WHERE TO PARK

The County of Maui is pleased to offer you an option for overnight parking in the Wailuku Garage. This parking facility is open from 5 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. Only those with a Neighborhood Parking Permit will be able to park after hours. Neighborhood Parking Permits are $55 per month, effective July 1, 2024. Low-income Neighborhood Parking Permits are available for $15 per month. To qualify for a low-income parking permit, your gross monthly income must not exceed 85% of the State Median income for the family size.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To qualify for a Wailuku Neighborhood Parking Permit, you must reside within the residential boundary on or near Vineyard Street and Church Street in Wailuku (refer to the map).

When registering, you will need to provide:

To be eligible for a Low-Income Employee Parking Permit in Wailuku Town, you need to:

  • Upload your previous year's taxes showing 85% below median household income (if applying for an Employee Parking Permit - Low Income)
  • Vehicle license plate number
  • A utility bill or State ID/Driver's License to confirm your residence within the specified Wailuku boundary, refer to Wailuku boundary map below

How to qualify for a low-income employee parking permit?

Will I be charged for overnight parking if I was previously registered for a free parking permit that expires on June 30, 2024??

Registered permit holders you will be notified, and the parking system will offer an option to enroll in autopay for automatic permit renewal If you opted out, this means you won't be charged until you register to purchase a permit.

I entered my Credit Card information, will it be saved?

Yes, your credit card information is saved under your profile.

Can I apply for a refund if I forget to cancel my autopay?
