Parking Ambassadors in Lahaina

Diamond Parking is currently seeking full-time and part-time Parking Attendants / Parking Ambassadors to support parking operations in Lahaina, as part of the County of Maui’s Park Maui program. Parking Ambassadors serve as the friendly, on-the-ground presence at parking locations—assisting residents and visitors, providing information, monitoring facilities, and helping ensure parking operations run smoothly.   • Status: Full-Time and Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers, vendors, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Collect, record, and deposit parking payments and required documentation
  • Accurately complete shift paperwork, including vehicle tracking when applicable
  • Report facility maintenance issues, safety concerns, or unusual circumstances to supervisors
  • Maintain clean, organized booths, stations, and parking areas
  • Monitor and maintain signage displays as directed
  • Remain visible and available to greet and assist guests during shifts
  • Wear designated uniform and identification badge while on duty
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours and comply with timekeeping requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
  • Comfort with basic data entry and electronic devices
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills for handling parking transactions and making change
  • Ability to work independently and apply common-sense decision-making
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position requires regular standing, walking, reaching, and handling objects, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Employees may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid environments, and moderate to occasionally loud noise levels.
