Two projects in the South Maui district have been identified for PARK MAUI’s pilot phase:

Ulua/Mokapu Beaches parking lot

The shared parking lot for Ulua and Mokapu Beaches in Wailea is optimal for a streamlined PARK MAUI implementation process. Both beaches are primarily utilized by tourists which will allow the County to evaluate strategies for this user group through PARK MAUI.

Kamaole III parking lot

The parking lot Kamaole III in Kihei is optimal for a streamlined implementation process. This park is a popular destination for Maui residents which will allow the County to evaluate strategies for this user group through PARK MAUI.
